Saturn is the second-largest planet in our solar system, and the sixth from the sun. A huge ball of gas and liquid, with a bulging equator and internal energy source.

Saturn has a large family of over 80 known moons. One of these moons is called Janus.

Heavily cratered and irregularly shaped. Janus orbits Saturn just beyond the F ring (Saturn’s outermost ring) with its co-orbital moon Epimethus.

Named after the Roman god Janus, who could look forward and back at the same time.

Janus – the god of doors, gateways and transitions. Janus holds the keys to the gateway between what was, and what is to come, holding space for the middle ground between beginning and end.

Janus oversees all transformation – as time evolves and the seasons change, life begins and ends, and eras shift.
